Redington House
A complete remodel of the clients backyards. We took this Hillsborough property and created a welcoming and versatile contemporary backyard space. The space originally had an uneven difference of elevation between the pool and the main house. In order to make the space more welcoming we created three levels of terracing. The top level was designed with a metal trellis that is both physically light and provides a light accent to the space. A warm firepit with seating fills the second terrace. The final tier takes you to the pool and barbecue area. Together, these three tiers make up an outdoor living space that can provide a sense of serenity or host large gatherings while providing multiple spaces and levels to ensure the space still feels open.
Materials such as rough form concrete were chosen to provide a nice texture to the landscape. A slip resistant porcelain floor was meticulously picked out to provide tasteful style to go with poolside safety.
